Summer Programming for Kids and Families
Many of our Daily Practice Programs are open to Children*, however in response to numerous requests for programming specifically for children, we have developed the following:
Mindfulness Camp for Kids - (ages 8 – 14) Four days of bubble blowing, body bending fun! Give your kids some excellent tools to help increase their focus and body awareness, all disguised as play! Kids will learn to foster creativity and present moment awareness as well as develop healthy ways to cope with stress and the changes of a growing body and mind. Yoga for Kids – We are excited to partner with the Chattanooga Public Library's Summer Passport to Reading program. We will be a spot around town where children can come to learn something new! We will be offering a weekly yoga class in June and July on Wednesdays from10:30-11:30AM for kids kindergarten aged and older. Kids who bring their passport to get stamped may attend the class for FREE. Class will also be offered free to members. Class size is limited to 20 and we ask that parents stay on premises while children are in class.
*Tai Ji, Yoga (8 and up), and Monday Meditation welcome children when accompanied by an adult.
