This series will offer contemplative and meditations practices for those who are looking to deepen their spiritual practice. We will be learning to cultivate skillful intentions and actions of generosity, truthfulness and equanimity. These qualities when developed lead to contentment, peace and happiness.
Each session will include guided meditations, instructive talks, group discussion, interactive mindfulness activities and written homework suggestions.
The April 8th session will focus on Generosity: Sense of Connection and Belonging.
When we live in a self-focused way, we distort reality and create stress for ourselves.By developing our minds to become more generous, we open the heart in a benevolent way, which allows us to see the reality of the shared world. We feel more connected, kind and compassionate.
