Qigong is another type of moving meditation that has gained notice as yoga has become popular. Qigong is an ancient form of moving meditation from which the forms of Tai Chi evolved. 

Healing Qigong (Sometimes translated "Medical Qigong") is a self care practice. Qigong practice leads to better health and vitality and a tranquil state of mind. We are all exposed to stress. Qigong teaches us how to respond to stress so that life events do not cause symptoms like frustration and anxiety. The practice of Qigong consists of breathing techniques, gentle movements, and meditation to increase circulation of the life energy (qi) through the body. Those who attend will leave feeling refreshed, centered, and revitalized. These are simple techniques that yield amazing results.
