What do you do when anger, frustration, obsessive worry, fear, or prolonged sadness show up in your meditation time? Are there harmful or bad emotions? These 90-minute classes invite you to experience mindful practices that creatively honor all of our feeling states.

Bring your lunch and experience the transformational powers of self-compassion, art and community. Group work will be psycho-educational in nature, with a focus on practical ways to deal with our emotions, not the causes of our emotions.

Offered to accommodate our busy schedules, feel free to attend one class or all, as registration is being offered per class. See below for a complete list of topics and dates:

  1. April 21, 2017 - Grief and Sadness
  2. May 5, 2017 - Anxiety & Fear
  3. May 19, 2017 - Frustration & Anger

This series will be offered monthly. You are currently registering only for - Frustration and Anger.

Led by Julie L. Brown, LPC, a Vanderbilt trained therapist with over 20 years experience working with trauma, emotions and contemplative practices.
