This class includes a 40 minute guided meditation, a Dharma talk and discussion. Informed by Buddhism and other contemplative traditions, it will explore themes such as mindfulness, insight, daily life practice and the transformative power of presence. Guiding teachers are Kittisaro and Thanissara, former Buddhist monastics.

We gather each week to meditate and explore the teachings of Lama Tsultrim Allione, founder of Tara  Mandala Tibetan  Buddhist Retreat  Center. As a Sangha, we are joined by various authorized teachers of the Dharma for weekly talks and meditation sessions. We are currently an open group practicing traditional Shamatha sitting meditation.

This is a group for anyone interested in Zen seated meditation (zazen). Beginners and all experience levels welcomed. Instruction is offered on what to do with the mind and the body in zazen. We will have two periods of quiet sitting meditation with a walking meditation (kinhin) in between. Please wear comfortable clothing, sitting cushions are provided. Come join us!  Zen Meditation Instruction (ZMI) is offered for newcomers and discussion afterwards.
